CHINA OIC FORUM, Beijing - China

This ground breaking event, the first of its kind
hosted by THIQAH and ICD in Beijing - China,
which gathered over 300 senior regulators,
multilateral institutions and market players
globally with the aim of building linkages
and enhancing trade & partnerships between
China (world’s second-largest economy) and
key industry players in IDB member countries.
The forum covered opportunities available to
Chinese firms and institutions in global projects
and infrastructure finance deals, investment
options for Chinese investors in key Shariah-
compliant investment markets and how the
One Belt, One Road initiative will impact
investments and trade in key markets.
The Forum was an excellent platform to meet
with senior decision makers within China’s
state-owned enterprises and development
banks as well as leading bankers and corporates
from key OIC markets.
Diwan Ewan, THIQAH Headquarters, Jeddah - KSA

The 1st Diwan Ewan has been organized at the
headquarters of the IDB Group Business Forum
(THIQAH) which was held on Wednesday, Feb-
ruary 24, 2016. The guest of honor and keynote
speaker was Dr. Tariq Fadaaq (Member of the
Saudi Shoura Council, President of the Jeddah
Municipal Council, Faculty Member at King Ab-
dulaziz University in Jeddah, and Board member
of Okaz Organization for Press and Publication)
The 1st Diwan Ewan aimed to:
• Raising awareness about the real estate sec-
tor, and review the latest developments under-
taken by Ewan Global Co.
• Finding housing and real estate solutions and
overcome the difficulties.
• Invite prominent writers and thinkers to dis-
cuss the basic pillars in the real estate industry.
• Communication between Ewan global com-
pany and their target audience.
The event was attended by more than 70 busi-
nessmen and specialists in the real estate sec-
tor, in addition to a number of local journalists
and media representatives.
