Workshop on the future prospects for the agricultural
investment opportunities in Africa, Khartoum - Sudan
(19 February 2016)
The above mentioned workshop was held on
19th February 2016 at BADEA Headquarters.
The workshop was attended by the IDB Gov-
ernor for Sudan (H.E. Minister of Finance and
National Economy), H.E Minister of State for
Investment, H.E. the CEO of ICD, H.E. Director
General of BADEA and H.E. the President of
the Arab Authority for agricultural investment
and development.
The workshop aimed to present the available
investment opportunities in the agricultural
sector in Africa. In addition to discussing the
appropriate solutions to key issues and chal-
lenges by selecting the appropriate policies
and strategies for the development of this im-
portant sector.
Business Forum in Morocco, Casablanca
(22 February 2016)
The IDB Group Business Forum (THIQAH) and
ICD have organized a successful Business Fo-
rum in Morocco. The event was held on Febru-
ary 22, 2016 at Hyatt Regency in Casablanca.
The main objective was to initiate a strategic
dialogue with key Moroccan economic opera-
tors to identify potential opportunities for col-
laboration. In addition to promoting the private
sector in Morocco and supporting the Moroc-
can companies to expand globally. The event
also played an important role in supporting
local actors in the form of funding, resource
mobilization, PPP projects and infrastructure
financing.
