IDB Group Day in Benin (9-10 April 2013)
IDB Group Day in Niger (11-12 April 2013)
Under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Thomas
Yayi Boni, President of the Republic of Benin and
His Excellency the President of IDB Group, the Is-
lamic Development Bank Group in cooperation with
the Ministry of Development, Economic Analysis
and Prospective, organized the IDB Group Day in
Benin, as part of bilateral cooperation, which was
held on 9-10 April 2013, in the Palais des Congrès,
Cotonou, Benin.
The primary objective of this event was to famil-
iarize local players from public and private sectors
with the different policies and actions undertaken
by the IDB Group in that country, with a view to
strengthening them further in the coming years.
The Forum was organized under the patronage of
His Excellency Issoufou Mahamadou, President
of the Republic of Niger and the President of IDB
Group. The main purpose of this Forum is to of-
ficially launch the partnership strategy between
Niger and the IDB Group, to familiarize local de-
velopment players with the different policies and
actions undertaken by the IDB Group in Niger, and
to strengthen cooperation between the IDB Group
and public authorities and private institutions.
