The Islamic Development Bank Group, in association with the Moroccan Investment Development Agency, will hold a Deauville Partnership Investment Conference in Morocco on 5 March 2014 in Skhirat. The conference aims to bring together government Ministers and high-level business representatives from across the Deauville Partnership countries (G8 members, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE and Turkey) along with representatives of international financial institutions (IFIs).
The IDB Group is making a concerted effort with its IFI partners to assist Morocco in building an enabling investment environment that would be conducive toward attracting more FDI inflows, and to show-case available promising investment opportunities in a day long program on 5 March 2014 in Skhirat. The main objectives of the conference is to provide a platform for Morocco to showcase foreign direct investment opportunities in the country and highlight steps they are being taken to attract investment and to facilitate investment networking opportunities between companies from Morocco and those from across the G8 and Deauville Partnership regional members. The conference will also engage a group of investors to present and discuss their investment experience in Morocco so as to identify success stories and any obstacles encountered.
